Until then, it's strange I know they Love me, but it feels pained Their gazing is strained, is this My guilt I'm feeling, or inheritance pay? It's such a fine line bordering a great game But we play with different styles to maintain A life, a title, a trained frame Maybe respect and some money on the same day But the way I stood, didn't sit right With their version of Good, and what is right I'd love to tell 'em to hang, and just sit tight But I might choose to stay high this life And make music, anything the kid likes Some they wouldn't choose at all, and wish I'd lip bite But when it comes to certain subjects that can get my Attention, I can't let sick shit slip by Some day, I'll make 'em proud to say That's my son Some day, I'll make 'em proud to say That's my son, that's my boy! Gratitude is powerful medicine And makes me and them way better friends But when they criticize my better sense I don't wanna scream and fight 'til the bitter end I don't wanna see a time where we still depend up- On time, to heal, let's mend and then some But I still feel them some, and I'm sick of it I accept this, only to be rid of it I want acceptance, only cause I'm the best Me, I'll ever be, and we know God blessed this Unconditional Love means no question, and That's all I want from every other contestant That means you, I don't want to be Mean anymore, or ever use you as a sad exuse.
