Letter to Momma

Knowing you won’t ever see the person that was close to you They say I’m sorry for your lose But what's that supposed to do It can never bring them back That’s a terrifying fact In this world all we do is add and then subtract It’s a scary feeling Cause you never know you could be next The demons they revealing What you look when you fall from your apex It don’t matter what your sex is your race or your complexion Put your phone down and go head and count your blessings Your mind and your soul is the most dangerous weapon So live life and cherish every second And learn your lesson Yea learn your lesson Momma please listen to me I love you more then anything Dad was a king and you were a perfect queen Nobody was stronger then you Nobody could hold you But you lost your queen The one that taught you everything She was there for you the whole way through All the way until you grew into a beautiful mother The one that produced two sisters and a brother And married a great father with flaws I mean don’t we all have flaws Sometimes you have to sit back on life and just press on pause And realize nobody is god or even Santa clause Nobody is perfect Nobody is perfect But you gotta love them because they are worth it
