Sometimes I wish that she was right there So I keep on turning up the sound of her voice In my car While I'm stuck in traffic God bless the feminine woman whose receptive And modern dating Is so inebriating She wants what love can bring without ever communicating What she needs And political correctness Still she hasn't found the courage to just be honest With me And let alone with herself Being beautiful at 32 for her must be its own hell Could she be what I need Or is the answer somewhere inside me Yet I'm not short on time And there's another girl I think I might like I told myself I'd never fall in love again over the phone I know that there's gonna come a time when I let her go Faking love's an art that everyone just seems to know And the western man's God died in an exchange for comfort
