No Debating

Yeah No ceilings in the coop yeah I'm always star gazing Out in Portland on a trail ease our mind while we blazing But what I'm really facing is stronger than the leaf How can I separate myself from being a native or a chief Cause everybody from the streets, but that's not where I reside But it's still in my genetics, get it from my momma side And I'm filled with so much pride cause I get it from my pops Even though I'm from the burbs I'm still holding down the block Life been moving fast but I still just take my time So I won't ever have regrets and never need to look behind That's why people by my side, nobody needs to have my back So I can see if they tryna stab so I can move and react All the focus in the world but I'm still not picture perfect Giving captions in these lines but they serve a bigger purpose And for certain I been praying it make me whole never half I'm way too raw to wrap it up so I don't need to use a mag I keep on shooting shots in the game something like a heat check Not tryna come off as jerk don't even reject Certified myself so I don't need their validation Want me to take in their advice but that's not my obligations As far as I'm concerned, I'm doing what I'm supposed to I could shift another gear but I'm cruising like a old school And that still got me past you clowns, I know you notice it Tryna tell me how I play but in the bleachers coaching it They say good things take time that's why I'm always late But I've been working for a lifetime to make sure that I'm great I won't settle for less I got a whole lot at stake Tryna turn these ramen noodles into a couple plates of steak Relationships tend to have a certain pull on my life Cause ion date to find a girl, I'm really tryna find a wife And In this life it's so confusing choosing someone who truly stays Cause everybody temporary and their feelings always change But not me, I been moving on my own and so lowkey My brothers bang that hammer, you won't know if it's even on me Tryna rock all the gems but I rather just spit it So it can change someone's perspectives and push 'em past their limits Look it's all about direction, don't care for the speed So I gotta keep the faith talking like a mustard seed I've been rooted in the ground and my soil gave me power Everybody all around me help me bloom like lotus flower Underground for awhile but that's surly bout to change Gotta chase the North Star so I can let my freedom reign And in the mist of all these things be the one who's the example Of never moving outta pocket but still mix it up and scramble My consciousness bringing in an new audience Remaining humble never caught up in the cockiness But sometimes I'm feeling this urge of confidence Cause the verses I be spitting so dirty, I'm talking sloppiest I'm casually causing all of these casualties The strongest will survive this happened naturally Now I'm seeing first hand why they mad at me If I'm keeping honest it's really flattering Cause everybody wanna be J4 Get the point know I'm raising the score Got 'em begging for more And for sure no they cannot ignore No debating who the best anymore
