Bike Ride

Glowing sun and palm trees Looks like a fantasy Maybe we could settle down here See new colors every day The scenery's so pretty Should we stop for a minute Comfortable in our own space But isn't this the most peaceful place Winter used to be my favorite time But there's nothing like these summer nights I've never loved the sun as much as now Can I pretend, this warmth is mine for life Remember this bike ride Everything around us was just perfect as it was There, with you by my side For a moment nothing can stop me, the world is ours Gloomy skies over hooded heads You're speeding up, going straight ahead I hear you laughing from a distance Looks like it's gonna come down Oh well Wet clothes from the pouring rain I don't notice, it's euphoria The wind makes my hands so cold It's gonna be hell to brush my hair But I don't care Worry city is my favorite town But right now it feels like peace can be found Maybe it's unwise But I think we should wait for the sunrise Stay awake in the moonlight 'cause we'll never have enough time Remember this bike ride Everything around us was just perfect as it was There, with you by my side For a moment nothing can stop me, the world is ours I keep trying to let go But you're still on my mind I keep trying to let go But I can't fake it I can't look at you and not say « Won't you take me somewhere new ? »
