Pride

Pride I don't got everything figured out That's for sure I can make it seem like I do But keeping it real, it's all for show I got lots of people telling me imma make it I don't know Think I like the odds stacked against me But that's my pride talking again, oh no When I'm confident, no stopping it, can't make amends With my way, I will surely win My accomplishments, the best candidate There's no other way around it I'm on top of it I'm like Everest, the way I chill at the top Then I snap out of it Man, get these thoughts up out my head I battle with myself This thing called pride taking over once again Do I let it tear me apart from within or humble myself to be a man?
