Knights of the Gas Mask

I'll do all I can do Save yourselves Before we all are doomed Everybody's saying stay indoors Self quarantine to push the threat off course But what do we do when we run low on supplies? They say that cloth masks are a waste of time Well I guess I'll take a look At what we have around the house Yeah I'll gather what I can To make some gas masks for myself And my family so we can At least head out to the store It seems excessive but at Least we won't just be a statistic I feel ridiculous but I Don't want to put my family at risk I look into the mirror and Say out loud "I'm the knight of the gas mask!" My girlfriend tells me I'm a dork But all I can do is make a joke To lighten up the situation When there's all this chaos going on out there I swear I heard on the news The other day about a man who Attacked an Asian American Family of four Killing two children Just two and six years old So I'll bear my mask And feel ridiculous While I do the best I can 'Cause it's fucking disgusting How people are acting Not just spreading disease But are spreading their hatred too Yeah we'll bear our masks We'll do all we can do And we'll fight back Against the hate, against the war We'll fight for the greater good So bear your mask and take a stance We are the knights of the gas mask
