Social Massacre

I'm starting to hear talk of this thing The news is calling social distancing Practice the six foot rule, they ask And if you have to go out don't forget to wear a mask But so many people still don't seem to give a damn It's Spring Break after all, the perfect time to cram A thousand people on the coast to party at the beach A cesspool for the virus to go on a killing spree Another plague The infected rate is rising 'cause instead Of people caring, they let it spread Yeah I had my doubts But I played it safe and kept careful throughout I don't want us all to end up dead I can't believe our government Is trying so hard to circumvent For what, to save the economy? An imminent massacre by the president Is there a reason that our country's rate of infection Is rising exponentially unlike the rest of the world It doesn't matter if they save themselves if we can't contain The growing death rate will just spread and kill humanity
