I remember everything The highs and lows that were there, I remember them The times we stayed up until the dead of night, talking about everything You said forever and that you'd never leave Here we are now, the months have flown by since you've said that Forever is apparently very short, and never has an expiration date Reflecting on everything, I know not who was in the wrong All I know is that it's gone Everything that was talked about has become a fleeting memory Never to be discussed again Those days in June meant everything to me But alas, with that one night in July, everything fell off Now we're here in April, all feelings gone I have moved on, and you have too But the memories that were there live on The memories of our friendship, the one left burned and tattered Our friendship, ruined, but not by the actions of one By the actions of us both, we have ruined one of the best things I know it's too late to ask forgiveness and expect it But always know I remember everything
