What's going on This place looks different than The time that I remember When these people didn't mess Or try defending the offender It's a mess Why are people this age getting this much stress It's a mess Let me start off with what has to be addressed Why are my friends buying out the time to be depressed First of all I've assessed what people define as success Just because they've got you down Doesn't mean you lost the skills you possess Everybody knows that that's how it goes Get up, continue to progress Second's second I reckoned that people beckoned to the day They say they're left with the threatened Guessing why they're still here today Look, if you're in the presence of this lesson, disobey Trust me when I say you can finesse life in another way You don't have to change what you aim for naturally As long as it comes natural to you Don't do it any differently You might be surprised at the look in their eyes If you just think positively Now you be you and let me be me Cuz you can see the way you change If you change the way you see I do not understand Why do these people not offer a hand Why do they watch when somebody is trippin and stand and say "Somebody come get their mans" Man, we all live on earth's same rotation So turn around and help ease their frustration Without you then where's their motivation Like why produce an entire song If you don't know how people will take it That is exactly right.
