I Want To Go Home

Livin' on earth I feel so lonely Try to fit in I feel like the only One of my kind Oh wait I am How could I be so blind That's right I'm from another planet I want to go home But I'm not done Once I am I can leave this dome Tried to connect But I'm a bit of an oddball My way was different At times I felt so small That's when I'd touch base With others from my own planet And then I'd embrace The fact that they are just like me I want to go home But I'm not done Once I am I can leave this dome It's almost complete The study of earthlings Then I've done my part Didn't have to pull strings Can't wait for that day When I could be back home But at least I could say That I completed something successfully I want to go home But I'm not done Once I am I can leave this dome
