When I die To some unknown disease Or a swarm of bees I'm sure you won't notice Not much will change, won't it be so strange When you realize that All your Socks are mismatched Your buses are late Your car keys fell down into a sewer grate The power went out while you were curling your hair And in your favorite hoodie, you found a tear You might try to blame it all on bad luck Say you walked under a ladder Your mirror: it shattered But maybe it's time for me to tell you Why all these things are happening to you See I'm a creature of spite The things you did in my life I've not forgotten So when you find that your veggies have all gone rotten Or your pillowcase of silk has turned to cotton It's a gift from me I hope that you hate it Cause I'll be haunting you Until the day you die
