Running through the woods at a frightening speed Going on a hunt what a sight to see Coyote and the Badger in the dim moonlight They're going on a hunt in the dead of night Coyote and the Badger oh how neat Leaping through the air while the storm clouds meet Coyote says to Badger don't slow down We need to lose the scent of the old Blood Hound Ducking in the fields cutting through the grass Paddle cross the river now they're moving fast They start to make their way through unfamiliar land The farmer lays awake with a gun in hand Coyote and the Badger what a thrill Bracing for the bite of the midnight chill Coyote says to Badger have no fear We've gained a lot of ground and the coast is clear Coyote and the Badger watch them go Trekking through the hills in the wintry snow Coyote says to badger don't be long We're going on a hunt till the break of dawn
