It's Friday night and the mood is low No one knows just where to go And then my friends come and say they searched around Then they ask me to take them to Koreatown So we leave in this old car of mine Breakin in at just five past nine And we arrive to the smell of barbecue And I knew that there was so much there to do Walk around the neon lights Find a restaurant to please our appetites and we Find a place to settle down From the chaos of this dense and tight-knit crowd And it's here in the mere Koreatown We step on through a karaoke door In hopes to sing until our throats go sore The sound of bad singing is ringing through our ears But even then our troubles start to disappear Make our way on to the busy streets Where the locals come to meet and greet Try to navigate the vibrant city lights And enjoy all the time we have tonight Feel the presence everywhere People laugh and dance and sing into the air And we have the need to stick around Cause we know that it is gold that we have found It is here in the mere Koreatown And the night is coming to an end As we walk back to my car ahead And we look back to this home that we have found We'll be back to explore Koreatown We'll be back to explore Koreatown
