I Love You, Goodnight

Imma be honest, it's been real hard to find purpose I know I'm still young, so the stressing probably not worth it But I'm still searchin' Know I got some good times ahead But when I look to the future, I don't really see it So I've just been happy with the present knowing y'all could be in it I really found family I really found a way to be the most "me" that I can be Would it be crazy to say that y'all kept me alive? There were times where you guys were the only comforting thought in my mind Helped me to recognize the meaning of life We're on this planet to love and be loved Only thing I fall into except for what lies above But I know that I took things just a bit too serious Took me all this time to find satisfaction One thing I realized Is the beauty of all of us having different lives After all this time, I'm finally ready to start mine I was made for so much more than what I focused on in this record My mind stuck on perfection, I had to learn to change I had to learn to grow Things shift in ways we don't even know But at least I found one thing, and that was belonging Never had a solid group outside of this Never felt that true peace outside of this Started enjoying every moment 'cause of this I'm grateful for what I learned about friendship Grateful for what I learned about patience, but I gotta move forward My quest for perfection is done And if everything goes right In 4 years, I'll still be alive And I know we won't talk as much As long as y'all don't forget about me, we can still keep in touch It's not really as deep as I say I'll only be an hour away I'll see you 'round if you still care about the college guy But the sun is setting now, so 'til then, I love you, goodnight Well, that's it.
