Lost in my daydream I'm trying to get out Lost in my daydream He's got me figured out I slept with my eyes Wide open And when I awoke The day was closing down Lost in my daydream I'm feeling down and out Lost in my daydream He's got me figured out I waded through my thoughts until My spirits rose Then the ground gave out Below me Oh I've grown tired of my daydream Just look at where he's left me I forced myself out And fell plump onto the ground Faced the world I tried hard to block out Baby steps I guess Are what I'll use to get around Fumble the darkness until The moon moves down Oh I've grown tired of my daydream Just look at where he's left me
