Everything Goes Out Of Style

Taking a walk down the street I got on my brand new shoes But I'm getting tired of walking So I got to find an empty bench to use And then a hypocrite walks up and sits Greets me with a smile And says brother, oh, don't you know, everything goes out of style I saw my grandmother everyday Until her days were done She'd stop by the house in the morning time Cleaning up after everyone And when I awoke she would tell a joke Scrubbing all of them floor tiles But I say brother, oh, don't you know, everything goes out of style I'm telling one of my dearest friends To paint my walls white Because the current color is killing me And I just can't stand the sight And can you change it to blue in a week or two And come back every once in awhile Because I say brother, oh, don't you know, everything goes out of style Yesterday I left this woman Who treated me so nice All the times we went out together We were living in paradise And every single kiss was absolute bliss Boy those times were wild But I say brother, oh, don't you know, everything goes out of style Now I've always been one to believe What's lost cannot be found And your soul fills up with sorrow When you let the bad times get you down Nothing is worse than life on this Earth When you're living in denial So I say brother, oh, don't you know, everything goes out of style
