Rain

I've been caught in the weather again And these eyes cannot shine cause they're stuck in my head And with that I'm awash with these thoughts that I pen They cannot stop they just start up again Steam will rise from the rain on the road I've been Caught unprepared And I saw our stars in the paper I read and that someone else teared And I wasn't scared Words trickle down from my head to my hands and they get lost at sea to get washed up on the sand Or they float away as I sleep on a train or get pondered on rocks and slipped in to the frame Tongues will lash as I'm walking on back I've been Tied to a chair.
