Used to never get up early Never thought about the wonder of the light the sun brings But sometimes it's only in the boring That I find the most beautiful things A low red sun upon the deep blue sea Scarlet pillars hold up a pink ceiling The breeze as soft as a symphony The waves as strong as the birds are free A country field under a bed of snow Trees, grass, and hills all seem to shimmer and glow A bright red bird stands out against the white He sings a song he made about warmer times All things bright and beautiful All creatures great and small All things wise and wonderful The Lord God made them, he made them all
