Swirling Sky

Why is it we're always alone Even when we're spilling our guts Sitting next to you on the bus Tell me that we're bringing it home Why is the mind is a sword Slashing through the gifts and the goals We can still relinquish our souls Just tell me that we're bringing it home Aiming to embrace the swirling sky Without a care to pry open my mind There's nothing there Except a penchant to ensnare And so instead I ask the spirits floating up above To christen me with their true love Light light light So let's rain so that we can shine Exclaim pray then laugh it off love the ride Be somewhere Then we can embrace the swirling sky And let the sun bring peace of mind
