The Shaman and the Wolves

The purple shaman is dancing again Graced with feathers he claps in his hands His soul is singing with all one’s might lighted and delighted He calls the wolves towards him and laughs loud into the night They gather around him and waiting expectantly He is their magician with the feather crown The leader in the wolves’ skin all times concealed in the shadow And yet known everywhere They’re howling at the moon There’s blind understanding amongst everyone Everyone is willing to die for the other He’s breathing out, he’s breathing in and yells into the liberty Tonight we’re gonna sing with the devils like angels they try to seduce us
