I feel myself become a zippermouth I’ve Always been like that cuz I can never let it out I never felt like I belong in a crowd No one likes a quiet person I’ve always been a zippermouth Zippermouth the kind that people zip around among the loud Sea of sounds not a chance for any of my words to reach Inside out to any of the many plenty Faces that pass me cuz I wouldn’t say anything I feel like I'm too bothersome, every word I Bottle up, even so it’s hard to talk, often I would Be the shy one who wouldn’t start a conversation one on One no words to follow up I speak when spoken To, simple as that to those who didn’t Know getting info from me is like cracking up a Code, other than that I just keep it on the Low looking down with my hoodie up, giving simple Nods in the hallway, nothing wrong with being quiet I admit, yet I do get tired of it I cannot imagine life being a social butterfly you wonder Why I'm mysterious I hide what’s beyond my mind I feel myself become a zippermouth I’ve Always been like that cuz I can never let it out I never like I belong in a crowd No one likes a quiet person I’ve always been a zippermouth
