To The Dove

The summer sun shines so bright And my dove is soaring up in the sky Letting me have my full delight But will it come down to me as time goes by It always flies faster than me With every beat of its wing But when will it be Down here perching I would never know what happen to my dove Because I didn't find it the air Since yesterday it flew above And it wasn't fair I hope it knew before it went into flight That I was trying to grow wings before that night
