Hard to Imagine

Maintenance and control are fighting back our free will Eyes are blinded only by the sinking sunlight We find our eyes are open but stinging has closed them shut It's rotting garbage in a rut That's what it looks like And we turn away in silence But it's so hard to imagine life without it And we don't know what it looks like Can't erase the thoughts of yours or mine as well Thoughtless reason only to conform It's all wrong Uniform and trusting the tradition Reasons to escape It's all made up only habits of the past Thinking free is frowned upon Deviate only from the norm It's what we need
