Have my efforts only ever been a waste? Is the reason for my confidence just getting to me late? Start to call this life a wash If I don’t have the same ambition I know these are shit conditions But that doesn’t give me faith What’s the point of all my willingness if I’m just stuck inside? What’s the point of making wishes if its all a subtle lie? In my braver moments Maybe I can laugh at what this is Just all a process of unfolding energies that will exist The stars aligned and came together using us to live So why am I so tied to how I only think it is? At times a verse can make it sound like it’s got aesthetic appeal But it’s void of any function for the purpose that I seek Because I see a lack of any value inherent to me A heavy face of weight that I don’t really ever know Maybe amalgamations forming from collections of my lows I guess A value statement constantly inside the brain controls All of the faith to be arriving in this moment as it goes I watch the ticking back and forth and try to be a soul Try, try and try again to be some pattern for the whole If I can fly I will descend for every step that I’m alone If I can bluff then I’m obsessed with all the ways that I will fold Why’s a wise being just giving me hide and seek? Why’s a fine line sitting between this and that relief? Find my god sitting and chilling because I sleep But a light’s on so can we offer him something please?
