Now That I'm Here

Wanted to say a couple things now that I'm here I've been social distancing for probably four to five years This ain't nothing new to me Locked inside, working on my craft like there was two of me So screw you with your scrutiny And now they're getting arrogant, there's something in the air again Like I owe 'em something, but I ain't owe you nothing They get scared of me, the way I'm moving calm and fearless Keep all your opinions to yourself 'cause no one wants to hear it 2020 might have taught you something if you wasn't woke But I was though and I've been cutthroat So anything or anyone that's in my way is done-zo And I don't have no superficial image that I have to uphold Wear my heart on my sleeve, they're coming to me Picked to pick up the pen and I just had to believe But I don't really know what's happening in these crazy times So I just stack my paper high 'cause I just know that cash is king I'm tryna give away game Even if nobody cheering for me like away games I am coming at you with the power of a freight train It's 'cause the words I say have weight Might have lost a little but my pockets always gaining weight Keep your fame and clout 'cause I ain't try for that shit I would way rather be silently rich In an island cabana in Turks and Caicos you ain't finding me in I'll get rich or I will die for this shit I ain't lie, it's legit Yeah, I ain't lie, it's legit I wanna see the ones who ride for me win I'm not concerned with how the pie will get split So I just pile it quick And people can't keep it together it seems When shit is getting out of order like a vending machine And I'm just over here winning, bring the blessings to me But they get angry when you win, I see 'em clenching their teeth And I've invested my teens and I've invested my time And early twenties just so I can get what's rightfully mine And I'm going till there's nothing left 'Cause I've been dead set on getting hella bread to get ahead and keep my stomach fed I'm working at it
