Rude Thing

We went dining me and a princess Sometime yesterday I was trying to be at my bestest But I was afraid The lighting it was at its dimmest The wine was darker than red One moment with everybody listening You did not just say that she said She left me all alone with some words They hurt but I'm sure I've heard worse What an awfully rude thing for you to say I walked over to the water With my love and my frown I passed the lonesome only In a festival of tents spread around My mind it was at its lowest And the signs were blurry as they read One moment with all the homeless watching I didn't just say that I said I left them at their home with some words They hurt but I know they've heard worse What am awfully rude thing for me to say Fixed my hair there that is the ocean's bank Sauvignon Blanc spewed in the briny Cordon Bleu sprayed on the beach A shame to see all three stars wasted To blame was me and my drunk speech One moment with only me there listening I didn't just think that I said And left all alone there with my words Are these the ones that I deserve What an awfully rude thing for anyone to say
