Social Distance

When I drove around our town today There was no soul in sight All the stores have shut their doors It happened overnight Some say it's all politics But I don't think that's true Cos my girl stays six feet away What's that look like to you Social distance ain't that fun I can't be with anyone Shaking hands could be the death of me And the cold couch nights I truly dread I have to leave my girl in bed All because of COVID Just yesterday she held my hand But now she's holding off And just like all the crazy folks She'll kill me if I cough The toilet paper's running low We're on our last roll And Walmart is a free-for-all The world has lost control Social distance ain't that fun I can't be with anyone Everything's been canceled now I see My house smells like Lysol spray And I've got a tally keepin' track of the days I don't really like this quarantine All this came from COVID
