Puzzles and Delights

The sun ran in my room And claimed to not have seen me in a while I'm loitering above some tiny marks And the town moves on around me In the dark I forget my thoughts aren't impossible out there So when the streets have emptied out We can bring a couple bottles Sigh and learn 'Cause the days get watered down And the town'll move on around us in the dark I forget to disconnect or replace my parts Some things that once made sense Might slip away The brick and wood might have a never ending face The town'll move on around you while you're a mess Like a thank you note you never wrote Like the twisting light that hit the road As bad as the winter was,you still miss the cold And that's okay
