It's tough being misunderstood Times I just don't understand I've stumbled on my own before I've been humbled through it all I don't have to prove myself I can't be afraid to live in freedom Enduring the pressure with God by my side Going where the Lord leads me Owning up to my faults, letting the pride go Learning from my mistakes Not just for my sake God's already broken the chains of my fear He's waiting for me to step into the unknown My Lord is with me every step of the way Just embrace the adventure and the adversity Nothing and no one's gonna tear me away from God Persevere with joy through this beautiful journey With my reputation on the line I want to live my life for the Lord I have a hope I want to share freely Place all my trust in Jesus
