Top of the Trees

I don't expect to be happy I don't care to be wealthy I don't want to be confused I just want to be at peace I long for the place at the top of the trees In the summers with autumn's breeze But the leaves are still green My knees are weak Maybe I'll rest my feet At the place near the top of the trees Where the moths and beetles agree Woah no Woah no The river is in sight But only at this height If I walk I can make it there by night The hierarchy of greens and purples And shades I've never seen And everything in between This is where everything meets
