Routine

I can feel sun peaking through the blinds Taste the rum i was sipping last night Smell the smoke on my clothes And it’s two in the afternoon Get up yeah it’s all for the cause Round up a little hair of the dog Now i’m on my way back to yesterday A little medicine for the heartbreak Doctor said it’s a good thing To get yourself into a routine Well finally found something that’s good for me Miss you drink sleep repeat Routine It ain’t hard to stay motivated At the bar everybody’s congregated Got the remedy if your memory Tries to walk in and get the best of me They say tomorrow is a new day And time will take away all the pain But tomorrow is so far away No time to waste just throw it on back
