Stay the path

Woke up today, wide eyed an feeling great, I found a new way yesterday, prayerd, heard my  gods say stay the path its okay to hold on to my past, reminds me why I won't relapse, it's just fact, listen to my other raps. They talk about my life, what choices I've made, other paths I like to take, it talks about my pain ( I'm always caught in purgatory, but if I Stay the path maybe I'll realize whats to come of this new life)  It's time to embrace this new way, for I'll surely be dead, if I drink again. I know it seems like no big thing but if you just listen to Me you'll start to understand, why I'm the way I am I used to talk a lot never listening,  now I pop a squat and keep my mouth shut listen to others talk, I've gained wisdom because I changed some now im fearsome it's the way it is, I rise like the sun one day at a time and tucked away in the other side till it's time to come back and shine, upon life , this is what I have to put in my mind, see, I broke it, ( I'm always caught in purgatory but if I stay the path maybe I'll realize what's to come of this new life) so I strife each day learning as I go, one day I'll show the world my worth and word in this cold reality of minds fantasies, lost wanting to have complete, sobriety, free from me, and the pain I have from drinking it has me sinking with my back to the wall I hold the tears in fear I'll let me down, it's so hard this battle of addiction each day is a new situation, ( it's why I'm always caught in purgatory, but if I stay this path maybe I'll realize what's to come of this new life) look at THIS book of ryhms, it's all mine. Its one way I stay alive inside my mind.
