Typical Week Day

Seven A.M. was a mess It was time for me to get ready and get dressed Laundry all over the floor But I don't have time, I have to head out the door Heading to your job Papers fly over the place Forget your boss's coffee Such a slap in the face Going up and down the stairs Finish up the chores Fall back on your chair I don't want to deal with it no more It's a typical week day I can't wait for the weekend to come I'm going so cray, cray, cray I just want this day to be done And though you can't escape it In any other way What I have to say It's a typical week day Trip over something on the ground Spill your drink on your clothes It just comes back around This is just how it goes And though I may not know it I can make the best of the day And though life is unpredictable That's what some may say It's a typical week day I can't wait for the weekend to come I'm going so cray, cray, cray I just want this day to be done And though you can't escape it In any other way What I have to say It's a typical week day Typical, typical, typical week day Typical, typical, typical week day Typical, typical, typical week day
