Last year I was down always looking around At the things I was seeing Wondering “why not me?” Spent way too much time, too much energy Focused on people who don’t know I’m breathing Overthinking little shit all in my head constantly the death of me, like overkill A little too numb to feel Wasting my younger days Lately I been feeling like a change must come Moving onto brighter from those darker days Use em as a lesson all the hurt and pain And do what I can to never live it again On the 23rd I’m turning 23 Gotta take advantage of this high energy Manifesting all of my dreams Watch them come along (20) One year older A couple heart aches stronger 23 might be my lucky number So imma leave it all in the past (2x) Last year I felt stuck in all my crazy ways Felt as though my sanity was taken away Riding wild emotions Like merry go rounds Treated like a fraction breaking myself down Doubting my own greatness When I knew it was no good to me (No it’s not no good) Uh huh (uh huh) Lately I’ve been loving all the change I see Think that I’m becoming who I wanna be Got a little peace of mind I’m healing scars Still got some work to do This heart’s my job On the 23rd I’m turning 23 Imma take advantage of this high energy And manifest what I want to see Watch it as it comes One year older A couple heart aches stronger 23 might be my lucky number So imma leave it all in the past (2x)
