When your death becomes televised Why can’t people see and empathize Instead of getting mesmerized Growing up you see these legends make their own history Thinking there’s no way they're just a simple human entity Praise them to the point that they ain't even human And when their time comes their reputation is ruined As a lil kid I saw these legends make their mark And growing up I thought that I could fit in with the stars But as time passed they started to as well one by one And some not even making it to the age of twenty one Now I can’t help but think if I were in their position By thirty my soul would’ve gone missing I get the feeling that my life is just gonna cut short Guess it’s God giving me a heads up first It’s a cycle we keep repeating in our lives Our legends make us think we can make it and survive But when we grow old they fail us or just die So why become a legend like Juice said but then again he ain’t alive Wonder why we can never keep our eyes closed Cause life never ends on a high note I’m a teen making music what do I know The only thing I can ask is “Why though” Why do all the legends die?
