Check it, yeah Remember when I used to want to be an astronaut Now I'm soaring up but this was an afterthought How I had to switch my classes to join high school choir Did a couple solos and my voice went higher Picked up rapping later on for an experience Kept on cooking even when scraping the ingredients Remember when I first released keep on cooking I was just finding my voice and looking To see what I wanted to do and how people would take it And even if I was clowned on I tried to save it Deleted it and started from scratch everyday Always thinking there was something better to really say If there was the smallest thing wrong with the song And the message wasn't strong, it wouldn't last long Scrapping everything I made, looking for a medal Putting everything together, rushing to another level It took me three years to make ten tracks to release But even after people are gonna take it and critique I have no control over that and I don't disencourage it Wonder why you can't see it as an experiment Mixing every song idea in my head, while arrogance In people thinking they can opinionate life choices like a therapist I just find it embarrassing Why can't you take art and cherish it I'm not against opinionating what you think Just don't make it a fact and make it sink Flooding every fresh mind with negative reviews That's what caused me to not want to show any previews Now I hope to stick around to be an icon Not carry a stick around hoping I don't die young Stick around to see that talent so ignorant To ignorance turned talent by the end of it, yeah You know what, just leave it like this Just an intro we don't need that much One word says a million things Cut the beat, yeah
