Lost in Nightmares

I wish I could be myself again But it's been a while since me and myself were friends These pieces of me are still broken and I cannot make amends I don't understand how my brain work But everybody keep tellin me all the same words I tell everybody that I'm doin better but I haven't felt like me in forever How do you cope with that? The old me destroyed me, I shoulda never let her Hate myself, I wish I never met her Now it's all goin bad I wish that I could restart again Lately it's all been gettin too hard again I'm feelin these icicles formin inside of my heart again I don't understand why the shit hurts But everybody keep tellin me all the same words I tell everybody that I'm doin better but I haven't felt like me in forever How do you live with that?
