Sun peeking through the city's crown A gentle breeze, a brand new sound Pigeons cooing, sirens wail But I don't mind the city's tale Strolling through the streets, feeling free Springtime in the city, wild and sweet Heart is light, my soul is deep Dancing in the rhythm of the street Central Park, a vibrant green Laughter, chatter, a joyful scene Yellow cabs, a blur of light Everything feels so right Sidewalks bustling, people pass Smiling faces, a sea of glass City lights, a starry night Feeling grateful for this sight Strolling through the streets, feeling free Springtime in the city, wild and sweet Heart is light, my soul is deep Dancing in the rhythm of the street Sitting on a bench, watching the world go by Lost in thought, beneath the endless sky Feeling small, but also part of something grand A tiny piece of this concrete land The sun dips low, casting shadows long A new day dawns, filled with right and wrong I stroll home slowly, with a smile so sweet Grateful for this city, and its busy street
