Memories plague me when I think of what's to Come inside don't mind the shape I'm in I'm hopeless when I romanticize Nothing will happen but I hold on to The nonexistent strings holding me back Doorway to the love I am looking for Running away with all the thoughts in my head I see what my future would look like with you in it But I stop to think cause it overwhelms me And just at the point of going crazy I look around and notice the silence I take a step back and close myself away Self-indulge my fantasies despite what I've been told Come in here and lay with me, and stay here for a while At least until I can breathe, like normal again
