Gospel Treasure

Man I found this Gospel treasure It just keeps on giving Now I'm free from sin Now I’m truly livin' Jesus is my greatest Treasure Cuz He saved my soul Suffered on the cross To give me shalom Man I found this I’ve been on a journey Tryna find pleasure I’ve looked all around And knew theres something better I didn’t know God But God knew me Back then I didn’t want Him But He wanted me I was seeking eternal joy in all these earthly things The essence of my fatal sin found in Adam and Eve Yeah we deserve eternal wrath from rejecting our King But Jesus took that punishment from dying on that tree My chief end Was to glorify Him By enjoying Him But I denied Him Chose my own way But by His Grace He gave the gift of faith So I can be saved And I know that I believe My sin denied His joy received He’s the only thing that I need He’s made me free so now I sing Man I found this Gospel treasure It just keeps on giving Now I'm free from sin Now I’m truly livin' Jesus is my greatest Treasure Cuz He saved my soul Suffered on the cross To give me shalom Man I found this Sold all I had To have something greater The fullness of joy In the presence of my Maker Delighting in the LORD Is why I'm created Tryna bring shalom To the rest of creation Reconciled to my creator so now I can flourish Living like I’m supposed to yeah you can call that worship Glorify Him with my whole being cuz my life been purchased So Imma live for eternity cuz these earthly things are worthless Restored my desires So I’ll want Him Delight in His glory Distaste for sin When I enjoy God He’s glorified Sin disrupted our flourishing But restored our design For my sin His blood was spilled But By His wounds now we are healed But He was crushed cuz of His will He’s done us good His plans fulfilled Man I found this Gospel treasure It just keeps on giving Now I'm free from sin Now I’m truly livin' Jesus is my greatest Treasure Cuz He saved my soul Suffered on the cross To give me shalom Man I found this
