A Pandemic Frustration

Lately, mind just feels so empty Save me, from all the things that tempt me I seek familiar pain, it’s just not healthy Hell, please Don’t burn me yet, I’ll find a way to help me Maybe, it’s all these covered faces All the places closed They’ve kneeled, now the world sees coloured faces and all the racism The masses seem to grow but I feel alone, I’m on my own Don’t let it end, make sure you say to them, what to say to them I’ve found a hand to hold and my iron’s low, so I’m not warm Don’t hurt me yet, it’s been so good away from the storm
