Drawing circles in the dust Feel like I've been down Stuck in a rut I got my guitar and I know it'll save me But only if I pick it up I keep telling myself that it's better off this way But I'm not so sure Kinda feel like I'm missing the show Lie down before the sun Awoken by the moon I gave my body to the city that made me And now my soul just sits at home And I admit I like the view But I'd like it more if I could share it with you I got everything and nothing And I did this to myself I keep telling myself that it's better off this way But deep down I know That I'm really just missing the show Got a castle in the sky But I need something to fly for There has to be a way to get back down from here I'm up here all alone And I really need someone to reach inside Reach inside and fix what's wrong with me It won't end if I don't try So here goes nothing Gotta stop telling myself That it's better off this way At least now I know That there's really only one way to go
