Creature of the Night

Well you can stay near or you can wander far I'll be sitting here with my guitar With no worries left today The bad times we had they will go Most the fun is we don't know And we're never gonna say Walking home for most the night Looking rough but I feel all right As I stumble to my fate Don't you worry what I'm thinking about Just try to figure yourself out You know we haven't got all day And meet me where the roads will cross Don't worry if you're getting lost You know I'll always keep you safe You walk a mile inside my shoes Seems they're much too big for you You know they put you in your place So you can stay near or you can wander far I'll be sitting here with my guitar With no worries left today 'Scuse me do yo have the time To help me clear out all my mind Do you think that today Could be my lucky day Do you see me going back Or sitting here and getting fat No I never said it right no I'm just a creature of the night
