Perfectly Fine

I'm getting old and I am trying to Find out who I'm supposed to be Not who everyone has formed me into But the real me underneath I'm definitely far from perfect But I think that's perfectly fine I talk to God quite often And his grace never subsides To my mother I am sorry I sometimes do things you don't like But just know that I am trying To keep you happy and by my side And dear father please forgive me I sometimes put my job aside But there are dreams that I've been dreaming I'd like to make my real life And to my brother in the city I miss you too much to describe And to my brother that's here with me We're growing closer all the time And to my wife and my sweet baby Just know that you are my whole life So much joy that you bring to me I'll stay forever by your sides I'm getting old and I am trying to Find out who I'm supposed to be Not who everyone has formed me into But the real me underneath I'm definitely far from perfect But I think that's perfectly fine I talk to God quite often And his grace never subsides So many directions I could go in I got to find out which one's right But I can't do this on my own man I pray to God to shine his light He says son just keep on going You'll be there in due time I'm Getting old and I am trying to find out who I'm supposed to be
