The Only One That Hears

I live my life And I take it day by day I speak too much And I never know what I say I don't let the world outside Bring me tears So when I cry I'm the only one that hears Your eyes look my way I wonder what you see I'm always being someone But never me You listen to this voice I wonder what you hear Whenever I need someone You're nowhere near The moonlight reflects on the Rippled water clear I float and close my eyes And begin to disappear These silly words of mine Are all I have to say The birds sing their tunes And then they fly away
