REEF AS EVER

I wash up with the sparkling shells on the shoals I might be at the poles cause it's sunny all day long And I don't need to sleep I got caffeine in my veins like I drank sweet tea The shallow water's nice I can see right to the bottom Except that little fish down there Kinda looks like the shark got 'em I could sit on the beach With my cares outta reach And the sand between my toes I could live in denial Out on this isle And nobody else would know The sun's moving too fast across the sky And I don't think I asked for this day to end Don't think I'm ready to face the night But if the moon's bright, I'll be alright Cause the birds will start to sing And the notes they tweet will lull me to sleep So I can run from reality inside of my dreams I could live in denial Out on this isle And nobody else would know (I could stay) I could sit on the beach (By the waves) My cares outta reach (They'd come looking) With sand between my toes (But they'd never find me) (Maybe I) I could live in denial (Just might try) Out on this isle (to be more) And nobody else would know (but I'd have to jump in) Maybe I Just might try To be more So I guess I'll jump in
