Coalesce

I've been present and watchful of the space among myself Seeing how much still can control my aims So it seems it may not be so simple having faith in oneself Especially when some of the ones you love most are in the deepest depths of Hell A constant reminder Of all the things I could fall victim to in myself again I can try to forget But I know that it takes so much more than that I've been hopin' they would find their way before the holidays So I can embrace them and know where they've been hangin' lately Maybe when I find out They'll remember who they are just as I always have too But do you remember me? The stagnancy is destroying everything I believed in Though there must be something missing here Is it just me? Or is there such death lingerin' in every room with you? Can you not taste this when it's hangin' in the air? So much at once, such little time Even with the world at my fingertips I now can't see the signs So many states of mind bounced between Influenced by the toxicity I breathe into this body I've been hopin' we'd found our ways before the holidays So we can embrace each other and know where we've been hangin' lately Maybe when we coalesce We'll remember who we are just as we always have deep down Yeah, deep down I'm workin' to muster the strength to communicate That while you've been hangin' out down there I've been missin' you I've been missin' you
