This ones for the working man It seems lately my greatest hobby is just paying bills I pay 'em early always paying often making payments still Get 'em paid in full then take a pull here on the payment wheel Which bill will I get to pay next let's get that payment filled My girl thinks I go to work all day to play & chill Knowing god dam well I can't pay bills if I don't make these deals I can't take the stress & pressure of it hate the way it feels When they stack up it's like running my ass up some crazy hill Every paycheck still gets dispersed among a draining till This week SRP & cable bill plus my crazy pill Got a couple Pit Bulls that would eat you to replace a meal But $80 bucks a month in kibble keeps em tame & chill Had to jump through hoops just to get my funds approved For our family's house's mortgage now every month it's due Gotta hustle through the madness just to stack a few But it's gone quick as I get it, can't eat ya cake & have it too Cuz this is just a taste of the american dream But what you chasing in the rat race ain't as clear as it seems The all mighty dollars shrinking smaller by the day But everybody want 'em now they got us all enslave Cuz this is just a taste of the american dream But what you chasing in the rat race ain't as clear as it seems The all mighty dollars shrinking smaller by the day But everybody want 'em now they got us all enslave
