Rooftop Thoughts.

You ever crash the bird before you land the plane And the dirt is looking far away But I heard a couple thoughts escape And they told me it'll be okay I been feeling like a big mistake Like I don't even want to be awake You said you want to reason why I think that you should stay I know you won't but if you're leaving Then the least that you can do is wave Meet me where it's dark out Where the wind blows Meet me where I'm trapped With a curtain, open window Because I said so Text me when you get here It's a 9 story building, I'm on the tenth floor, you get it I been so confused lately, I been so down man Thinking on a roof lately, staring at the ground man Future misconstrued lately, that explain the frown man It's not a cry for you, it's just the way I'm sounding And I'm locked inside my cage, I'm just a hermit Try expelling all my pain, and started spelling out these verses Flipping to another page, digging garbage like a vermin Feeling too afraid of taking all these chances like a virgin Is it worth it I don't know Struggled for a purpose Travelled with a circus Tryna find a meaning when I barely scratch the surface And it hurts because I know I'm not the first to feel uncertain Wipe the dirt up off my shirt And then continue trekking earth I'm on a whole other planet The moon couldn't comprehend the phases that I've managed I just want to know my destiny, I want to understand it Tell me what is left for me, can I go and plan it I been questioning my home Surround myself with love and then proceed to feel alone Luckily this music shit is always set in stone Because if it wasn't I'd be gone gone gone gone I don't even know, all the power that I hold The future will unfold, but the presents feeling cold It'll be alright, it'll be okay It'll be alright, it'll be okay It'll be alright At least that's what I've been told
